By default I think lavender has to be one of my favorite flowering plants due to it being a shade of my favorite color. It also has a lovely scent (although some people may beg to differ). They're so pretty and great for decorating. I wish I had a bundle of them right now to fill the many bottles and vases I collect. Recently I discovered that there is a lavender farm on Maui. Perhaps a little island hopping adventure is in order in the near future?
