DAY 7: MW RESTAURANT

For my last night in Hawaii, I decided to go all out and indulge in the most epic dinner ever. MW Restaurant opened on Kapiolani last fall by two former chef's from Alan Wong's. Since then I have heard nothing but rave reviews about the place, which showcases some of the best Hawaiian cuisine there is. It's not the cheapest of dinners, but it is so so worth it. Good thing they just introduced a happy hour menu, because I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Hawaii. Now onto some food porn...

Ahi poke mandoo

Pickled local beets salad

Unagi and butterfish arancini

Mochi crusted opakapaka

Lava flow with coconut tapioca, haupia sorbet, shaved strawberries, and vodka kanten

Passion orange "creamsicle brulee" with lilikoi sorbet, ka'u orange custard, and orange kanten tapioca
